2023 Illinois State Scramble

APRIL 29 and 30, 2023

ENTRY FEE:  $320 per Team

ENTRIES CLOSE:  April 24, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Village Greens Golf Shop.  Payment must accompany entry.

EVENT:  The Illinois State Scramble is a 36 hole two-person scramble format played at scratch.  Winners will be determined by low gross score in each division (Regular and Senior).    A combined estimated purse of $14,000.00 will be awarded.  The purse will be split between regular and senior divisions based on the number of entries.  Approximately 75% of the entry fees goes towards payouts.  Payouts will be in the form of merchandise credit and will be awarded to approximately one-third of the field in both divisions.  To be eligible for the senior division, both players must be over the age of 50.    

An optional skins game will be held for $40.00 per team per day.  Skins game will be for all teams and not divided between regular and senior divisions.  Skins payouts will be cash and 100% of the pot will be distributed.  Only teams who are in Saturday’s skins game will be eligible for Sunday’s skins.  If no skins are awarded Saturday the pot carries over to Sunday.  Estimated skins payout is $5,000.00.  In the event rain cancels one day, no refunds will be given, and the payouts will remain the same. 

ELIGIBILITY:  Any golfer, except Professionals and golfers who have competed for money in pro events the past 2 years.

PAIRINGS: Saturday’s pairings will be available beginning April 25th at 1:00 p.m.  Playing partners and starting times can be requested for Saturday but are not guaranteed.  Preferences will be honored based upon the order entries are received.  Please indicate Saturday preferences on this application.  Sunday’s pairing will be made by order of finish on Saturday.  Sorry, no exceptions.
